  • Constructed a syllabus and taught two sections of a writing intensive course based on identity.

  • Incorporated innovative unit on digital identity development to illustrate the budding relationship between social media and higher education

  • Conferenced extensively throughout the semester with individual students

  • Directed hour-long writing conferences with undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education students to address higher-order writing concerns across disciplines

  • Worked closely with ELL students on mechanics and grammar

  • Guided first-year college students in writing for First Year seminars

  • Developed effective approaches alongside professors to advise students and assist them in their writing

  • Selected to staff the Peer Writing Center to assist undergraduates with writing assignments in all areas of study
